"The P 90 pickup first came on the scene in 1946 and was the premier pickup in the Gibson line until the inception of the Humbucker in 1956. The P 90 may have been relegated to service in more budget style guitars after this point, but that fact did not prevent it from providing some of the most significant and unforgettable guitar tones throughout the history of contemporary music. In it’s various configurations it found service in Les Paul’s, SG’s and most important the Epiphone Casino. The Jimmy Wallace Vintage P 90 pickups are hand- crafted in the “Soap Bar’ configuration, making them interchangeable with a multitude of Gibson and other similar guitar stock pickups. They have the familiar raw power and unbridled mid-range presence that has worked so well in modern music. They are excellent replacement s for all “Soap Bar” P 90 equipped guitars including the early Jazz guitars that their vintage counterparts brought to life. Construction Features include:
A-5 Slightly Degaussed, Rough cast (vintage correct) elongated magnets.
Plain enameled wire of 42 AWG thickness.
Hand assembly including wire wrapping.
A confidential treatment to simulate the chronological effect of older pickups.
Application of specific construction methods that have been re-developed from extensive research.
Bridge Pickup Output – 8.1K
Neck Pickup Output – 7.8K *Pickup Outputs will vary somewhat, considering they are hand wrapped."

This store made me wish I was a better guitar player. I mean to say, craftsmanship is right on the square in downtown Garland at Jimmy Wallace. Good grief!!! I saw the very best in amps and guitars. And parts and pickups were ready, as were the perfect strings. The quality is obvious. Enjoy the vibe. Save your funds up and shop here for the perfect guitar to change your life.
